5 Things To Do Everyday To Be Happy.

There is a lot going on around us all the time. We are busy with so many things to do in a day and always occupied with worries and stress to make things work. Either you are working or not, i feel everybody has to play their part in life and work on it. I think the most important thing is to be happy in any situation and do things that makes you happy and in this article i have listed 5 simple things i do everyday to be happy.

I was battling with depression few years ago and took a lot of help from motivational books and speeches. Also took help from doctors to be treated which helped me physically but not mentally.

I was still in search of the happiness through simple changes that i can make in my life. One day i made a list of things that i love doing and picked up at least 5 that i can do everyday.

So, here are those 5 things that i always do almost everyday to make myself happy and motivated.

  • 1.Warm water with honey and lemon drink.

This is the first thing i do every morning when i wakeup. This drink is very easy to make and i drink it on empty stomach. This helps detoxify my body and also gives me energy.

  • 2. Breathing exercises : Pranayam

I do 3 pranayam exercises daily and it helps me a lot to be at peace. it calms me down instantly and makes me think more clearly about my goals for the day. It is also like a form of meditation for me.

  • 3. Me-time

Basically this is the time just for myself where i like to pamper myself by taking self care, eating something i like, reading articles or watching some old childhood movie that i love. This is more like a time when i can do what i want to do by putting myself first.

  • 4. Nature walks

I like stepping outside the house and spend time with the nature. Like observing the trees, flowers, weather etc. It helps me to lower my stress and makes me feel more grounded and closer to reality.

  • 5. Good sleep

I love to get a good sleep. A good sleep without any disturbance helps me focus well and more clearly on the day. Reduces stress and improve my mood.

No matter what you love to do to be happy you should always try to put yourself first sometimes. It will help you in many other ways like improving your communication with others and also help you get along with your friends and family. Being happy is very important for your overall growth and development.

So make a list of things that you think that makes you happy and do it. It doesn’t matter even if its stupid but whats important is that it makes you happy over anything. When you are happy you make everyone around you happy.

Know yourself and improve your day by doing just 5 things daily you like to be happy.

      I know this lockdown has messed up our sleep pattern also I noticed I sleep late these days.

      Yes warm water every morning opens my sleep completely and gives me freshness instantly, breathing exercises (Pranayam) have helped me a lot health-wise.

    Nature walks are therapeutic and a great way to boost mood. Sleep and me-time are really important to me. They help protect my mental health.

    This is a great list! The one I have the hardest time with is getting enough sleep. In part this is due to having little ones that basically night owls. I also have a difficult time napping during the day. Nature Walks are my go-to, it can change a bad mood right around and calm anxieties.
